Pest and Diseases

While fuchsias are relatively easy to grow, they can occasionally suffer from pests and diseases, which in most cases are easy to control.

Pests to watch out for:
Glasshouse Whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum)
Vine Weevil (Otiorhynchus sulcatus)
Aphids
Capsid Bug
Mealybug
Red Spider (Tetranychus urticae)

Diseases to watch out for:
Fuchsia Rust (Pucciniastrum epilobii)
Grey mould (Botrytis cinerea)

New Pest Threatening Fuchsias:
Fuchsia gall mite (Aculops fuchsiae)
